General[]

The Kuro Mori Mine is a Tier VI Japanese Heavy tank.

The Japanese Kuro Mori Mine was first available as a premium tank from an in-game event in which the player had to complete stages leading up to the grand prize, the tank itself. Most people however, obtained the tank from the 2015 special event called GuP: Collection. On November 14, 2019 all 3 tanks (those being the Kuro Mori Mine, the Panzer IV Anko Special, and the Hetzer Kame SP), were put on the in-game shop for sale as a set ($19.99 USD), or individually ($9.99 USD). As of the 5.5 update, the Kuro was changed from a Premium Tank to a Collector Tank.

Notes[]

The blurb below is from the individual sale of the tank in Nov. 2019.

"The Kuro Mori Mine is a special version of the Tiger I, inspired by the popular Girls und Panzer anime series where the vehicle is controlled by the Kuromorimine team crew led by Maho Nishizumi.

This Tier VI heavy tank boasts high durability and decent maneuverability for its class. Swiftly take key positions on the map and destroy enemy vehicles using an accurate and rapid-firing gun with a short aiming time and excellent stabilization."

Strategy[]

The Tiger Kuromorimine SP is a great tank that can satisfactorily fill a variety of needs. With a relatively fast speed for a heavy tank, the Kuromorimine can quite a good assault tank if supported by teammates. It's damage of 220hp using AP ammo combined with its firing rate of 7.4 rounds per minute make it a fearsome adversary to face in single combat. This tank is perfect for peek-a-boom strategies or coordinated assaults with other tanks. This tank also has it's downsides as well. The frontal armor is very thick at 100mm, if presented head-on the vertical strip at the front of the tank can be penetrated by a variety of other tanks. The way to prevent this is to angle the armor by turning the tank so the armor is at an angle to the enemy. The Kuromorimine is also vulnerable to attacks from the side and rear.
