History[]
The Leopard 1 was the first main battle tank of West Germany (nowadays Germany), development started back in 1956 although the first prototypes were made 9 years later in 1965. The Leopard 1 and its upgraded variants would revolutionize modern tank designs and saw service in more than 15 countries, 5 which use a local version of the Leopard 1 and 6 countries which still use the upgraded versions of the Leopard 1 despite the existence of the Leopard 2 and its upgrades.

The British tier X TD "FV215b(183)" can easily penetrate Leopard 1 and detonate the ammunition rack, which leads to a joke: "Leopard 1 Slaughterer."
