The Stridsvagn m/42 is a Swedish Medium tank that is preceded by the Swedish Lago and succeeded by the Italian P.43 bis. it leads to the Strv m/74.

Strategy

Plays similarly to the T6 Strv 74.

History

A tank was needed in Sweden in 1942, and so the Strv m/42 was designed. Production spanned from 1943-1945. The 282 produced had uneventful lives, as Sweden was a neutral country in WWII, and served as pillboxes and coastal defense. They were replaced by the Strv m/81 in the 1950s.

Trivia

• Prior to Update 7.3, the Strv m/42 was one of only three Swedish tanks in the game, the other two being the Lago and the Stridsvagn 74A2.
